Melanie Eladia Proctor was born in March 1922 in Tucson, AZ. She lived at the Proctor ranch near Madera Canyon and went to school at Continental and Tucson High. She changed her name to Eladia.
She married Joseph H Amon at St Peter and Paul’s church May 1942. They moved to Mineral Ridge, Ohio and had one son. Joseph Amon died in 1946 and she moved back to Arizona.
Eladia remarried Vincent Adams and had one son. She worked with the National Multiple Scoliosis Society.
She died in April 1968.
